TRAINING SCHOOL CLAN TOOLS & PLANT LTD

The Clan Tools Training School has combined knowledge, skills and expertise to offer a high standard of instruction in extrication techniques, and maintenance/servicing of products provided by Clan Tools.
The Training School has been doubled in size to accommodate the growing number of people who wish to take advantage of our training courses and learn more about the equipment supplied. It is intended, in the near future, to run the training schools more frequently and to extend the training provided to cover some of the more specialist products which we supply.
The Training School was established in 1987 to instruct in the application, techniques and maintenance of using specialist hydraulic equipment. We believe that nothing can be left to chance when saving human life and a rescue team needs equipment that is absolutely reliable. The equipment, however, is only as good as the operator and that is why training in its use and maintenance is absolutely paramount: that is what the Clan Tools Training School is all about.
The rescue industry recognises the technical excellence of Lukas Tools and our Training School provides practical RTA training, utilising the continually improving products. We need to share our knowledge, skills and expertise. That is teamwork in the best possible sense of the word. Our aim is to provide a standard of instruction that will enable a user to train personnel to a high standard of efficiency and to impart the knowledge gained to other operators.
The Clan Tools Training School is specially equipped to offer courses to both instructors, operators and maintenance staff. The core of both the instructors' and operators' courses is practical application - the "how, "why" and "when" - of using Lukas tools in RTA extrications. The complete range of Lukas equipment is in the scope of the course and the following areas are covered: Design, Technical Specifications, Demonstrations, Assembly and Dismantling, Applications, Fault Finding, Repair, Maintenance and Service.
Every course member is provided with an invaluable reference package, complete with operating instructions for each tool, spare parts lists and diagrams. This enables an instructor to maintain the skills learnt and to produce his own lectures and visual aids. On completion of the course each individual receives a certificate stating they have attended the Training School for the instructors/maintenance course on Lukas Rescue Equipment.
Further details are available on application.
